MY APPROACH

Your photos are not the most important part of your wedding day (can you believe I just said that?). But for real, being fully present to enjoy every. single. moment is! While you’re busy belly laughing with your wedding party, tearing up as you walk down the aisle, hugging/kissing/squeezing your most special people, and absolutely getting it on the dance floor, I’ll be right there capturing it all. Having me as your photographer means you won’t be bogged down with hours upon hours of posing for stiff photos. Is there a time and a place for posed photos? Absolutely - I promise you’ll want a few for your parent’s mantle. But you can trust that I'll guide you through your day, walking the line between capturing moments as they fall and stepping in to provide direction when necessary. 

My job is to not only capture your day authentically but also to edit that way, too. My style is true to life with some extra warmth and a little bit of mood. I keep the colors in my photos true to the environment, so if you get married in a minimalist downtown loft, your photos are going to be bright + colorful, just as they were shot. If you get married on a moody + rainy day, your photos will reflect that, too. I never want my editing to distract from what really matters - the connection in the images.
