Tania and Zain were married in early June at the breathtaking Arrowhead Golf Course in Littleton, Colorado. This Colorado wedding venue tops the list of my favorite venues for its incredible view of the Red Rocks and acres of pristine greens. The Arrowhead Golf Course Couple

Tania and Zain are wildly in love, and it’s apparent to anyone who meets them. Tania is beautiful, full of life, adventurous, and one of those people who exudes a warmth that makes you feel like you’ve been friends forever. Zain is calm, cool, and kind. The very type of person I would trust to perform brain surgery on me… kind of perfect that he does that for a living.

Their love story is a wild one. They met in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Texas Children’s hospital in 2018. Zain was completing his neurosurgery residency while Tania was working as a nurse. Tania saw Zain performing surgery in his crocodile boots and scrubs, and was immediately infatuated with him. It took her a month before she worked up the nerve to give him her number, but when she finally did, they wasted zero time and had their first date that evening. Two weeks later, he asked her to be his girlfriend despite knowing she would soon leave to travel the world for 8 months only to return to begin medical school herself. They chose each other and left the rest up to the universe. Three years later, they were engaged!

Zain eventually started working in Colorado while Tania finished medical school in Texas. Not knowing where Tania would end up for her residency, they decided to plan their wedding at Arrowhead Golf Course in Littleton, Colorado. Little did they know, Tania would match in Emergency Medicine at Denver Health just before their wedding! The universe provided, yet again!

As if these two weren’t cool enough, their bridal style was off the charts. Tania wore the most iconic, bohemian gown by Galia lahav. She finished off her look with pressed flowers in her hair and a colorful bouquet by La Luna Florals. Zain had a custom, red velvet suit tailored to resemble the suit his late-father wore on his wedding day… so special! Of course, his look wouldn’t have been complete without those signature crocodile boots that Tania fell so hard for in the OR.

The Emotional Arrowhead Golf Course Ceremony & Reception

Their ceremony had me in tears multiple times as they shared heartfelt, personal vows in front of all their loved ones. The love and emotion captured during their ceremony moments are some of my favorites ever. Keep scrolling to see for yourself!

However, my absolute favorite part of their wedding day was Zain’s dance with his mother. Zain is one of six children and it was clear throughout the day that they all had the strongest bond. They clearly grew up in a home full of love and fun, which is what they portrayed during this dance. When it was time for Zain to dance with his Mom, a Christmas song began playing and I (along with many of the guests) immediately thought it was a mistake. However, it soon became clear that this was a meaningful song for not only him & his mother, but all of the children. After a few moments of Zain and his Mom dancing, his siblings started cutting in one-by-one, until all of them had a chance to dance with her. I found out later that every Christmas, his Mom makes them all dance with her to Christmas music. It was only right that they have a turn to make her dance!
